They thought it would gain more mileage if Cindy held the baby. Besides I think he is ambivalent, the baby was an accident,and it will be an embarrassing shot gun wedding. I'll bet they will divorce shortly after the election. It's interesting that so little has been published about the baby's father. More skeletons in the closet  ready to fall out?

He was.  Cindy wanted to hold the baby then Todd took him.  Then Piper wanted to hold him.  Did you see her l**k her hands to fix his hair?  That was sooo adorable!
