  1. cuz nobody gives a d**n about rugby, the whole world likes football (soccer).

rugby just isn't as popular so it has no fan support!!!

  2. Erm this is an interesting question and the only explantation i can see is they are not at regular intervals say as Rugby Union or football after some research i have seen that some years it has been up to 8 years in between and others it has been 2. Why this happens i can only guess there is not enough interest from a country perspective.

  3. because it was all orginised wrong, it was planed to be hosted at liverpool in 04 but they had to pull out as hosts, and there was supose too be a 2 year delay, but when the qualification started again that slowed it down yet again so add another year then some teams had to pull out adding another year!!! finaly the fixtures have been sorted the venues decided the qualifiers ready so 4 years late in 2008 we have a rugby league world cup, not union like some peple are sayin in this question!!!

  4. Uhh, I think you've made a flaw in your research.

There wasn't one in 2000, or this year.

The Rugby Union World Cup runs every four years

1999,2003,2007, and the next will be 2011 (At NZ i think).

  5. There wasn't a world cup in 2004 because the Tri Nations competition was on the rise and the Great Britain and New Zealand teams weren't succeding at intenational level.

  6. because there a world cup every 4 years !!!

  7. because of the tri nations comp which is a much better tournament than the R.L world cup although this year should be better with the talent in the UK on the rise.
