It is a good question for all of us in the present context of high competition.

In the ultimate analysis, we are all quarrelling because of (1) Ego; (2) Selfishness and (3) Ignorance. If everyone of us remove from us these three things, we will be able to live peacefully and happily. Too much of anything is bad. What I mean here is we should not be too much egoistic, too much selfish. That is all.

Yes, life is too short. Life should be packed with all the tasks which you want to do lovingly. If one can define the objectives of one's life with certain goals, either there would be no time for quarrels or you will not give any importance to quarrelling.
