The rod of the pendulum with heavy bob should be connected to a wheel.

Then by using suitable gears, it should be made to such a speed that a generator can produce energy.

  1. The generator would produce a lot of friction, thus stopping the pendulum very quickly.

Unfortunately your idea breaks the conservation of energy law.

  2. wll......you r wrong.................

actually it will  follow the conservation of energy...........bt the oscillations will be dammped n it will soon stop.n produce very less enery.............

    bt if we think otherwise.............

u can suspend the bob (conductor).....will another conducting wire...............n then if we will try 2 make it oscillations in an magnetic...or electric field then an induce current will be produced in the bob an it can be transfered to wire n so on..........so u get it.......?? .................

if u want 2 knw more about it then e-mail me..i cn explain it more

  3. the process would not be much efficient in comparison with other processes
