Why we converting 11kVA in 430VQ?

The EB will giving supply to us 11kVA but we are reducing used transformer that 11kVA in to 430VA for our domestic use .Why

  1. 11KV instead of 400V will be too high for equipment because the design and so the cost will be too high as it requires too much insulation, and the size. Also it is so dangerous to be used in domestic as it is more than 24 times stronger to give electric shock.

    Why does the utility convert 11kV to 430V for domestic use?

    Because 11kV is too high, it is dangerous, and requires special insulation and wire spacing. Appliance design would be difficult, and all of your appliances would cost more. Light bulbs in particular would be very expensive.
