  2. It cause the two components to produce a gas and if your in a confined space it will overwhelm you and causes you to cough severly, even pass out, burning in the throat & eyes, and can be very dangerous.

  3. When you try it one time you will know.

  4. I think it's because one is a base and the other is an acid, so it explodes or something.

  5. The acid and the base combined, and it can led to a small explosion, and the chemicals can have bad vapours.

  6. Chlorine gas is the byproduct. Takes your breath away.

  7. Chlorine gas. A thick, yellow toxic gas that was used as a weapon in WW1, and is VERY lethal. Don't mess with it if you want to keep your oxygen habit!

  8. both chemicals are harsh and nasty enough as it is, when they are separate.

But when you mix them, they mix rather violently, but most importantly, there is a chemical reaction that releases a toxic gas, which can kill you, make you sick, or ruin your lungs and eyes.
