Why we want a robot which looks same as us ?

a robot that looks like us can do most of the work that we do as it would have the same skeleton as we have (of-course made of some metal). that way it would be able to move every part of its body such as fingers, hands, neck, feet same like we can. so it would be more helpful to us... and also it can serve us better by doing works such as fine hand movements like us, like when we cut vegetables or write...
