I mean, not the obvious, but the intrinsic meaning of that.

I really hope someone can tell me.

  1. If there were any intrinsic meaning  one would need to rely on the author's intent and it is a bit too late to ask that source.

You have my permission to create your very own.

  2. Well, glass is a mistranslation from the french "vair" or fur, to "verre" or glass. So in actuality, the story is of the prince sleeping with everyone in the kingdom... but the reason is because the prince wants his "one true love" and that's how he can identify her.

  3. well, Cinderella accidentally loses a glass slipper while running out of the castle and away from the prince before he saw her for who and what she truly was. He picks up the slipper and soon goes searching the kingdom for the girl that the shoe fits perfectly. He arrives at the house of Cinderella and her stepsisters, and both stepsisters try on the slipper, but it proves to big and she finally comes out and tries it on. It ends up fitting perfectly and she and the prince fall in love and get married. Long story short, the slippers are so important because they help the prince find Cinderella, his true love.

  4. Glass is a very fragile delicate material. It symbolizes the virginity image of the princess-to-be. The foot was the only part of the body, in those days, that was allowed to be dressed and undressed in mixed company. The glass slipper symbolized the pure, untarnished, fragile sensuality of Cinderella. This virginal sensuality was the most important trait that men of those days were seeking in the woman of their dreams.
