I didn't watch the game and i'm not a massive league fan, but i always thought that Great Britain and New Zealand were kind of on the same level in Rugby League. Was it a one-off, have GBR improved dramatically or are New zealand slipping considerably. I mean come on, what was it, 48-0!

  1. I was shocked too. I remember when they beat Japan: 98:3, I think.

But then again Japan sucks at rugby.

Yeah, New Zealand is usually at the top. England just improved I guess.

  2. GB looked fresher and faster than NZ - maybe the seasonal loading is to much for NZ and they were a bit tired at the end of their season, and D'OH one replier - this is Rugby LEAGUE not Union. Drinks all round I reckon

  3. the kiwis just played like they had no heart out there  i dont know what the problem is i think its gary kemble and his slack coaching i mean the forwards wernt even taking the ball up strongly asotasi has got to leave the side stepping for the second rowers and the backline the tackling was poor they wer just doing enough to stop the  runner and not  putting any shots in we need a hit man its usually sonny bill or  kiddy but there both out injured we got a few players out with injury including benji and steve matai and david fa'alongo are suspended and nathan cayless wasnt available but watching that game i blame the coach he obviously gave them that pathetic game plan to play   and he must of had a team talk about calming down the agression because that display mate that wasnt a fn kiwi team  they didnt even try to dominate the ruck they wernt physical the only confrontational ones were fui and franky pritchardthe rest were just off it was shocking   i mean when bluey was the coach   people talked about the kiwis being on the verge of a great era and the boys went out there and played like it but since he left and i still cant beleive that bluey left theres just nothing  coming out of that team i still think that the heart of  new zealand rugby league took a beating when bluey stepd down  someone has to do something because another poor result like that and young fullahs like me will not want to grow up and play for the  kiwis

  4. It is an insignificant nothing sport in New Zealand. Only two countries in the world would have what you would consider half decent national competitions and they are Aussie and England. Its a sport played seriously by one country (Aussie) and part time by England and New Zealand.

  5. New Zeland are ranked 2nd to Australia and full strength are probably better than GB.NZ have 4 or 5 key players injured so that didn't help and they keep making silly mistakes.

  6. 2 words "Stacey Jones".

Without him the Kiwis are hopeless.
