Why were all strawberry shortcake dolls removed form Target and Walmart stores.?

Question

I went get some Strawberry Shortcake dolls for a birthday party my daughter was invited to and cannot find them anywhere. The sales person at Target said they were told to remove them from the shelves and that he didn't know why. I wouldn't think this odd except the same thing happened yesterday at Walmart.

Anyone know whats going on?

oh my gosh, that was my favorite doll growing up i will never forget the smell she had just like strawberry's. that sucks, you might be able to find it on ebay or something but im not sure i didnt even know they still had those!!!!!!!! i want one too!!!!
