  1. Red on the outside could be blood. But it would be just a few streaks on the outside. This would probably be a burst blood vessel in the anal canal. Any more and you would be bleeding all the time-as in change your shorts ever few minutes.

Bleeding in your stomach, intestines, or colon would turn the stool into a black, tarry substance.

A red/orange color that is mixed in the stool itself is something you ingested. It could be a large dose of vitamins, some medications,...a whole long list of things.

If it does not go away in the next day or two, call your doctor. Most likely it si something you ingested and it will go away in the next day or two and is no big deal.

  2. No idea. But if it turns green it is because of too much artificial flavoring such as popsicles and jello

  3. blood?  go to the doctor if it's re-occurring.

  4. Sounds like medication or if you started a new vitamin or something.  If it doesn't look like blood then I would rule that out.  But a lot of times medications can change the color of your stools as can vitamins and even the cake and "sweets" you enjoyed over your Birthday weekend!!!

I got a violation for trying to send you a Happy Birthday Song...some troll turned me in!!!

    Peace & Love  :)
