Because NZ has mountains and a close enough climate for the creatures to survive in. Sorry if i'm no help but i'd say each point up there is pretty sensible. B is a good one.

I'd say C since most animal imports to NZ have made no sense whatsoever, Why would anyone import sparrows and hedgehogs just to remind them of England, a lot of different types of deer were also released for hunting.

No idea about the goats though.......beats me.  I would have gone with "A".     Maybe they were a gift, in relation to his conquest of Everest?

maybe for food........roasted Goat is eaten in many parts of the world.......In Italy, is called "Roastelle".....little cubes of goat meat on a stick............very tasty!
