  1. gas prices skyrocketed after the dems took control of congress

  2. Why would we complain about the soaring economy? lol

  3. That soaring economy is sure trouble on the horizon.

Its true the gas prices went up. They doubled since the democrats took over congress.

  4. they think if they slip in the back door... that no one will notice that they are the ones that caused the problem...

  5. No, the democrats have blocked drilling our own resources for the lat 20 years.

Long time democrats like Joe Biden have a track record of blocking drilling in our own country.

    HMMMMM

If we would have been drilling all those years do you think gas prices would be this hi?

Alternative energy sources are defineately the way to go, but it's going to take years to get where we need to them to be.  Drilling our own oil is oil is not only good for our economy, but also good for National security.

  6. George Bush is responsible, but he's not really a republican, he rode in on his daddy's name.

  7. accept gas prices were at 1.49 when bush took office and was 2.33 when Nancy Pelosi was sworn in..

incase the numbers dont mean anything to you heres a nice little picture to help

  8. no..the hurricane Katrina started it. Well that hurricane season did. There was mass panic that made gas hard to come by, there was a shortage. That raised prices. Then Katrina hit, and supposedly some pipeline broke and we couldnt get gas. (even though we get our oil from other countries), so that created another shortage. (so they tell us), So they raised prices because of that. And after that, the republicans and Bush (who makes money off of oil btw) saw that the more shortage their SEEMS to be, the higher he and big oil can raise the prices. That is the reason gas is so high. Not because there is a shortage, there isnt, but because they can make stupid americans believe their is and raise prices to run us all into economic ruin. and sit back and laugh at those who still vote republican because they are so stupid

  9. Didn't you hear Romney? The liberals have been running the country for the last 8 years.

That explains why Bush kept winning. I thought he was the Republican. I may have voted for him by accident. I bet a lot of people did.

I wish we had Mitt to explain more about politics to us. Maybe we can get him to come here on YA and explain how to avoid neocon liberal Republicans in sheeps clothing to us.

  10. yeah...you are totally right!

  11. Because we're Americans (I know you don't understand).  We elected a Democratic Congress on the promise that things would "change".  Since then, things have gotten HORRIBLY worse because they've accomplished zero (just a bunch of "present" votes i assume).

  12. Actually, if you think about it, gas prices didn't start to soar through the roof until the Dems took the majority in Senate.  When Bush took the office, the gas was at approximately $1.80 and remained in that neighborhood until just a couple years ago.

And, wow, on second look at that question...we have a soaring economy?  I hadn't realized that...then why the h**l is everyone complaining about our Bushy?
