Was it because of the wet race?

But same was the case at Paddington Park, it wasnt so then.

Is it for change of tyres that they change the bike?

Did Capirossi win because he didnt make a pit stop?

Thank you for all the answers.

  1. Well the raced started as wet, but the ground was rapidly becoming dry so they couldn't drive with a "wet-adapted" bike on the dry ground. Because of the "flag to flag" rule they could change the bike with slick tyres. Capirossi won because he stopped at the right time, Stoner, Melandri and Rossi stopped too late and couldn't win. (Rossi also had problem with the second bike, but this is another story...)

Capirossi deserved this victory and DUCATI IS WORLD CHAMPION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. cap made the change at the right time

they started on treaded rain tires which are super soft

but when the track dries they heat up very fast and they deteriorate very fast

so they changed bikes the other bike had slicks on them

  3. Well said 51.

    2) Where is Paddington Park?

    3) Yes.

    4) He did make a pit stop, he just timed it better then most.
