  1. You question doesn't make sense, but it's known that the conquistadors recruited nearby tribes as allies, since they were enemies to the aztecs and Incas.... these allies helped defeat the dominant civilization.


  2. Arriving in the ew World, Cortés executed a successful strategy of allying with some indigenous peoples against the Aztecs. He also used a native woman, Doña Marina, as interpreter; she would later bear Cortés a son.

    The smaller towns were subjugated by the Aztecs in Mexico and the Inca in Peru.  On his first trip to Tenochtitlan (now Mexico City) Cortez and his men had to escape in the middle of the night.  on his second trip, he returned with many more warriors from other tribes who wanted to see the Aztecs overthrown.

    Pizzaro had similar help in Peru.

  3. Not important at all!  If you were  looking for lands and riches, I think you'd wish the place is uninhabited.  The presence of indigenous populations would only complicate matters.  Perhaps you need to clarify your question.
