Why were there reports of protesters spraying pepper spray on Republican delegates last night?

These aren't Democrats and they aren't even anarchists.  They are just criminal thugs who take pleasure in harming others.  We have this sort of behavior because we don't respond harshly to it.  A quick 20 year stint in prison would calm them down.

If those reports are true, those actions are incredibly stupid.  Plus it would be "assault" in my book, I hope they got arrested, charged, and punished.  With due process, of course.

They weren't Democrats, they were anarchists, who appeared at both conventions.  Fox ran several pieces on their appearance at the Democrat convention last week. Anarchist don't like any government at all.  The aren't members of either party.

There are many reports that get put out, like the ones about the Clinton's trashing the White House that people still believe, even though the GAO had to issue a report detailing the fact that they found nothing inconsistent with any other move.

Not all reports are accurate, or can truly be blamed on Democrats just because a Republican may say, or assume so.

Since they aren't responsible the only people who will be affected are the ones who believe the story, and they aren't the truly undecided.

i mean, if you organize a peaceful protest with a stance, okay, i might not agree with the stance, but it's your freedom of speech right?

i just liked it when the republican convention came to NYC and people were saying if these "pepper sprayers" tried anything in NYC, they'd kick there asses. I mean, NY has ben through 9/11. we don't need violent hippies with nothing to do breaking windows.

Because they don't have a clue...  if they did, they'd be repubs!!  It's a tough ? to answer - I have no idea why they think everything they think...  So completely out of line behavior  is natural for the less informed... unfortunately!  Plus I think they are scared - Sarah Palin is intimidatingly AWESOME!!!!!!!!  So to answer the question... I think Sarah Palin is the one who's going to tip voters to the logical nominee... McCain!!!

I didn't hear about this.  The only ones I heard about was the coalition pink.  They were holding up signs when McCain spoke and were drowned out by chants of "USA, USA"...
