  1. Because back then, Europeans were @ssholes.

  2. They wanted to limit the population and steal their lands.  Those were not real Christains.

  3. Contrary to the politically correct version of things, American Indians killed people too.  I am tired of the version that says they were completely innocent.

So the truth is that both sides fought against each other in a series of battles, wars even, and people on both sides died.

It wasn't pretty.  It wasn't nice. But it happened. I wish things had been different, but wishing is useless in situations like this.

  4. Territorial disputes. Colonialism's a *****.

  5. because the settlers were spreading democracy.

  6. Were there?  How many?  I'd love to see some backing to this erroneous assumption.  I don't believe that many were killed by "settlers"..

  7. They came to the American continent because they wanted to be rich. They were "good and civilized" while native were "bad and uncivilized".

  8. Why were so many settler women and children killed by natives?

They both wanted the same territory.

  9. Ah yes...the slaughter of the natives by settlers was a common occurrence wasn't it.  Idiot.

What do you think caused military expeditions out west?  Maybe the murder of settlers by natives?

I bet the fact that the Chickasaw fought on the side of the confederates and were the last confederates to surrender is a wickedly inconvenient fact in your world.
