I mean seriously, I heard more Yankees fans chanting than angels, and saw more white than red. GO HOME!!! I bet half of the Yankees fans out here have never been to New York in their life. It is the exact same with Boston. If you are a Boston fan living in Southern California you are a band wagoner that has only liked them since 2004.

  1. There are Yankees fans across the country.  They'll show up to support their team, unlike those fake fans in So Cal who probably sold them their tickets.  LA fans are always laid back and never have passion at sporting events.

  2. Sorry but there are Yankee fans no matter what stadium they play in

  3. I HATE BANDWAGONERS!

    especially yankee fans

  4. i know huh i was watching the game at home and i heard a lot of cheering when the yankees scored. i mean i always wonder where all these boston and yankee fans come from!

  5. Uh your wrong Don't hate on NYY and Us BOSOX FANS! Only reason you hatin because we have had succsess latley doesn't mean were bandwagoners your just jealous because the NYY have 26 and we have 7 and you have 1! 1 stinkin world series are you kiddin we didn't win 1 in 86 yrs and we still have more than you that is sad! LOSER!

EDIT: Also when did your stadium start to fill up yea not last October where we swept you out! So yea your stadium fills when you get good okay whos a bandwagoner now!

  6. No your wrong buddy, because  they never been to New York doesn't make them a Bandwagon fan, I'm from California I'm a Yankee Fan For Life, its not like its cheap to go to New York many Yankee Fan are FORTUNATE to watch the Yankees in New York and the fans that cant go to the closest ball park and support them

    Its a YANKEE UNIVERSE :]

EDIT- You don't know me and you never will if your calling me a Bandwagon fan go ahead all you want , but i know i am a fan, and you know i choose the Yankees People who actually know me know why , and that good enough for me

and the Angels are a great team , but i would never betray my Yankees

  7. Okay so I've seen a lot of message trains involving you.

Yankee fans are all over, and there just happened to be a lot of them at the ballpark. Saying someone is a band wagoner just because they like a team outside of their area is a little unfounded. Some states do not have teams. What should people there do? Not watch baseball? Now I am a die hard A's fan and always will be, but I love the New York Mets as well. I have never been to New York, but that doesn't make me a band wagoner. You really shouldn't label people as a band wagoner if you have never met them before or at least have credible information as to why they are what you are accusing them of.

  8. Yankees have a larger fan base.

  9. why the f*** do you got a problem with this huh?!?!...why the h**l do you care who people support...you can live ever you freaking want and like which ever freaking team you like dude...not everyone in LA has to be a Angels or Dodgers fan...jeeze...you cant call everyone a bandwagoner if you live in like ohio and like the COLORADO rockies...theres a whole bunch of red sox fans in baltimore!...everytime the red sox play there...theres mostly red sox fans...my cousin lived in boston when he was younger and has been a red sox fan for many many years...he moved to arizona a couple years ago...and by what your saying...you calling him some band wagoner...seems like your jelous that people like other teams than yours...just shut up...im a boston red sox fan...and if i wanna go to a red sox vs angels game in cali then ill go

  10. Go Angels

  11. Here's why.  Any team that wins is gonna get bandwagon fans. But with the Yankees, I think it's a mix of winning and transplanted New Yorkers.

There are transplanted New Yorkers all over the place. There are a lot in Florida, Texas and California, so it's perfectly reasonable to expect that some of them will show out at another team's ballpark when their home squad comes to town. Some New York area natives went to college in different cities and settled in those new places. Others moved for job opportunities.

Besides that, the Yankees' name is big enough because of the championships they've won. Some teams just have that national cachet. The Yankees, Red Sox, Cowboys, Steelers, Lakers, Bulls, Knicks (kinda sorta) have it. It helps that those teams play in large media markets and have been on TV a lot, thus more exposure and a chance to cultivate a national fan base. There will always be tons of Yankees fans outside of the New York tri-state area. If you win a lot, have big stars and have been on TV a bunch of times, you will get fans beyond your home market. There are Yankees fans in Oklahoma because of Mickey Mantle. There are Yankees fans in Ohio because of Thurman Munson and that they had their AAA team in Columbus for years. There are Yankees fans in Cali who grew up loving Joe DiMaggio.

The Red Sox gained a lot of fans because they were, to some people, the anti-Yankees (though they're really more like the Yankees than they care to admit) and they won a lot and had big-name likable players.

  12. Because the Yankees have a moronic bandwagon nationwide.

Don't you dare chuckle at that, Boston fans. Their wagon is just as bad.

EDIT - I typed this up without even reading the additional details. Haha, looks like I'm not alone on this.

    EDIT 2 - SoxNation is a moron.
