Question:

Why were we so unkind to the cheerleaders?

By and large most Indians (especially Bengalis) love to travel. Some within the country and some save and sacrifice to go abroad. Those Indians travelling overseas make it a point to come back having both enjoyed and being well informed. If some insensitive idiot were to shout out something obscene or racist, how do you think you would feel. So how do you think the cheerleaders felt?

  1. because they are annoying and loud.

  2. So very mean and no respect at all, cheerleaders are also human being that deserves respect...  We are all equal and if anyone thinks that cheerleaders are annoying, loud or interrupting the game why not go to the chairman or president or organisers or who ever the h**l they are and complain about them instead of insulting the girls or shouting racist remarks...

  3. it is something to ponder.

that's as much as i care to commit as i have never met a cheerleader called richard.

  4. Because they were an easy target.

  5. Because we are not used to see cheerleaders in many games.

And cricket is a gentlemen game, the new format is just getting heated up.We would be habituated with cheerleaders,as if they are in a football maybe in coming years.

  6. What???? The indian crowds shouting racist insults????

How ironic!!! Looks like the indians aren't as innocent as they consistently claim to be, eh?

Special mention must go to "nena sandwich" for her totally unfounded claim "they're all mean whores". Sounds to me like nena has some serious self esteem issues. Maybe nena's husband/boyfriend has let his gaze linger for a little too long & nena feels threatened by these attractive women?

"thecoolkid" has also made a very similar comment. I can only assume that "thecoolkid" realises that he will never stand a chance with one of these women, so it's easier for him & his little ego to dismiss them all as "whores".

What planet are you indians on?? Those cheerleaders are all professional dancers, what in the world makes you both think they're all "whores"?? Is it because they're attractive, fit and slim?

Do you think that your Bollywood actresses (such as Shilpa Shetty) are all whores too? Actually, that was a poor analogy LOL

Where's Oz for his comments on this??

    LMFAO

EDIT - here he comes - today he's ''Roll Bounce''. Those comments from you were worth waiting for, weren't they Ashish Bhatia?

Yes, I do know the meaning of ''w***e'' - you have forgotten that English is my mother tongue. If you read the posts correctly you will realise that the word ''w***e'' was used by two of your fellow indians. Suggest you formulate a decent argument before making a post which makes you out to be the absolute tool that you are.

I also know how to spell, Ashish, pity the same can't be said for you.

  7. b/c cheerleaders

    r mean w***e.

and beleive in following the "man"

  8. We shouldn’t compliant on it. Specially now a days we Indian are copying everything from western. This cheerleader concept is purely US Basketball.

Last time I went to staple center to watch the LA Lakers & Toronto Raptors match, those chair leaders has changed there dress at least 5 times, damm hot girls..ha ha excellent stuff..LOL

End of BB regular session, you can vote for the best cheerleader team

May be from next year onward it will be okay and people will start loving it

  9. Not everyone were unkind 2 them

  10. because they were beautiful and shapely.

  11. They are just whor_s who had entered a new proffession but did not like even though you had to expect it from a crowd as cheap and vulgor as that of india.

Looks like Miss Wayne Kerr is going to replace the cheerleaders when they are kicked out of the country.

Its bcoz of people like her that our country has nothing left that we can truly call indian. If the trend continues I think a day will come when we would be ashamed to call ourselves indian.
