Why weren't the Ron Paul votes called out at the RNC?

"A flurry of emails is circulating among Ron Paul supporters wondering what happened to the Ron Paul votes during the GOP presidential role call last night. Five Paul votes announced from Alaska (Gov. Sarah Palin's home state) were greeted with boos from the convention floor. But some 18-25 Paul votes went unacknowledged, including six Paul votes from Minnesota."

  1. I heard Ron Paul votes called out.  People can boo if they want.  And his votes weren't enough to change anything.  Irrelevant.  I can  understand supporting someone you like that's not a major player, but you have to accept reality to be taken seriously.

I hope we get a strong third party someday.

  2. The RNC is hijacked with neo-conservatives. Also, did you hear that the Secret Service confiscated Ron Paul slim-jims, buttons, hats, and other material related to Ron Paul? I think I smell fascism in the GOP. Good question.

  3. because he talks to aliens

  4. What if he had run on his old party's (Libertarian) ticket?  All his votes on election day would have gone to McCain.  His total votes weren't significant, and all of them were totaled correctly during the primaries, so what's the point in bitching about this?
