Why when I take my temperature with a thermometer it goes up each time?

First it was 98.8. Then I took it again the very next minute it was 99.1 Then I just took it AGAIN one or two minutes after and it was 99.3!!!! What is going on! The same thing happened last night! I just got home from work. Sat down, took my temp. It read 98.8 Then went higher the next few readings?!@!! What is going on here?!!!

  1. You are reading it too soon, that's all. It takes a while to reach body temperature. Read the instructions, that may help.
