Why when copper sulphate crystals are placed in water some dissolved wwhile some settle?

  1. before it gets saturated some will dissolve as the more dense crystals fall to the bottom, as you add the crystals to the water.

    with a lot of mixing , more will dissolve.

    once it is saturated, the excess crystals fall to the bottom
