Why when i added freon to my car it ran better on the highway?

not so sluggish, a little more power. Does that sound silly?

no its not silly, with the correct amount of freon the compressor is not cycling and the ecm can remain in a run power mode.

Freon has nothing to do with how the car runs,its for the Ac.

it is silly if you think the freon has any thing to do with the performance of your car.  You added something to it so you think it's running better.

The compressore is not having to work so hard therfor it takes less power to operate and therefor leaving the power in the engine.
