But if i get about 8 hours sleep i find it hard to get up and feel tired throughout the day. Should i stick with 8 hours or should i drop to about 4-5 like i did yesterday?

  1. If your body is used to getting only 4-5 hours sleep on a regular basis that's why it feels less tired with that little amount of sleep, so therefore your body is basically programmed to run off of only 4-5 hours sleep, and when you get more sleep than that on an occasion its due to what your body has classified itself as oversleeping, it would serve your body a good purpose to get it used to getting 8 hours sleep which is recommended, but it will take your body about a week Worth's of time to get used to it and program itself to operated off of 8 hours sleeping at a time.

  2. depends on your age but u should have atleast 6-8 hours sleep

  3. Everybody's different. Maybe you only need 5 hours and maybe 8 hours is too much for you. One indicator of having enough sleep is that you don't need an alarm to wake you. As long as you feel fine with 5 hours, then that's prolly all your body needs.
