Why when i save a picture on my computer this happends?

Question

I got firefox mozilla.When a save a pic off the internet,it shows a downloads box?????What does that mean?

And it just puts the pics on my desktop screen.I want it in a folder.How would I do so?

tools, opts,  and click the browse and choose where u want the files to go
