Why when people are at school they are scared to admit that they like pokemon?

im in high school and im not scared to admit that i liike itbut why are other people

Because it is associated with younger children people dont want themselves to look childish or like a "baby" but most people have liked it or still do like it at an older age

im 14 and i still play the games and occasionally  watch the tv show

because people care too much about their public appearence, but even if they dont admit it everyone liked it at one time or antoher.

I got you beat.  I am 41 and love to play pokemon games.  I have most of them.  But the others are right - except "Patriots Rock".  At your age, image is EVERYTHING.  As long as you are having fun, don't worry about anyone else.  You may outgrow playing Pokemon or like me you may not.  As long as you are not hurting any one, don't bother with others opinion of you.
