  1. They are so caught up in emotions that they can't logically speak

  2. They get fed up of each other and don't want to hear each other's statement anymore

  3. I think they temporarily "hate" each other, or think they do. No one wants to be the first one to talk or to apologize. If people really care they won't stop talking over a disagreement. Sometimes it's good to stay away from each other until you can sort out your feelings and talk to each other in a rational way.

  4. Simple because the thought of seeing that person keeps you mad or gets you even madder. If you got mad at your boyfriend for doing something such as hooking up with another girl you wouldn't want to see his face ever again probably. I think so because people do not like to be angry therefore they try to avoid being angry and anything that makes them mad they will avoid. I guess people always want to be happy and do whatever it takes to be happy.

  5. Because sometimes there's nothing left to be said. Or, if you continue arguing, you may end up regretting some of the things you say.

  6. Usually people are too stubborn to admit when they are wrong. Some people also feel so stongly about something that they vow not to be the first to say they are sorry and if you have two people thinking the same thing, nobody is ever going to speak.

  7. They are waiting for the other to speak and admit that they are wrong.
