Why when your doing good for yourself people hate?

It's crazy when my life was going down hill and I felt like forget school everyone in my family encouraged me to do better. Now I changed my life and now school is my number 1 priority.And now its like where is all the people that were encouraging me to do better its like they dont want me to go no further. Its a reason I say that now let me tell you, im in med assisting and when I finish in a couple months im starting LPN school.. Well I have a family member that does not want me to go. keep in mind someone who at first encouraged me to do better. I sit and try to think of reasons why I should not go but I cant think of any. Really there is no reason everything in going good in my life. What do yall think?

Some people especially family are the ones that can really drag you down. A similiar thing happend this was with my mother. So my advice is keep movng forward with or without their support no matter what you are the winner here. Congrats on your new look in life and remember someone is always looking up to you could be friend even a family member. I did it without my mother support now she is all proud of me like if she never put me down now Im the one that she's most proud of .Hope this helps.

They could be jealous. My family is the same way. It doesn't matter what you do or how well you do it someone will be there to bring you down. You have to do what's right for you. Go to LPN school. Why stop there?? Continue on and get your RN. There is such a nursing shortage these days that you are pretty much guaranteed a job once you graduate. Good luck!!! You can do it!!
