  1. It was just revealed by Men's Health that it is the worst appetizer in chain restaurants.  If it really is discontinued altogether, that's probably why.  Too bad, too...it is so, so yummy!  I think Outback Steakhouse has a comparable onion appetizer, in case you are interested!  This is the info from the article...the commentary is from the article, too--

    2,710 calories

    203 g fat 194 g carbs

    6,360 mg sodium

Hard to believe that a single onion can wreak so much nutritional havoc, but batter and fry anything and serve it with a rich dipping sauce and you are bound to do some damage.

  2. Ummm, i LOVED the awesome blossom and if they want to stay in business they'd better put it back on the menu. They've lost my interest.  P.S. try bennigans fried pickles. they are pretty tasty.

  3. Because people realized that unless you are sharing the awesome blossom with 6 people for your meal you are exceeding your fat and sodium intake for over 3 days!  Do you really want to do that when there are so many amazing and flavorful dishes out there without the transfat and sodium?

  4. I'm not sure why they stopped selling it but I do know that Outback still has it and that's where I go to now:))))))))

  5. Chili's now sucks! That is why they stopped selling it. No. Really they stopped selling it because the changing of the seasons along with the fact that not THAT many people ordered that item.

  6. I'm not sure because it was great tasting. But would probably give you a heart attack if you ate too much they are horrible for you.
