Why will 'system restore' command fail to respond?

When going back to the last checkpoint and processing, the response is that the command to restore failed, and nothing is changed.

  1. Right click My Computer (desktop) click properties, click System Restore tab,

    check mark Turn Off System Restore, click apply.

    Restart your pc.

    Repeat above, uncheck Turn Off System Restore to turn it back on, apply, now

    you can restore pc to any point you like.
