  1. Has it been 'restricted' (in the UK) by a modification to the exhaust pipe (if so it should have come with a certificate saying so) ?

  2. Are you riding uphill?  Are you overweight?  Are the brakes releasing completely?  Lots of different answers are possible...

  3. some of these things have a throttle stop on the throttle, you may need to adjust it to get the cable to move further, also there is an adjustment at the carb for the cable too. I am not sure but it sounds like its not getting enough fuel, is it slow off the line (takes a while to get going) if you raise the back wheel off the ground, can you get the engine R P M  up and with it on the ground you can't ?

  4. Is it second hand?

Does it run on a battery?

Do you mean a toy  type one were your not supposed to ride them.

    Add more detail plz

  5. Different things could be the problem. Your weight could slow it down, maybe bad bearings in the wheels, sometimes happens even with new models, or maybe its throttle isnt calibrated right. See how fast you can get it downhill, if it seems like its getting a boost and then can't compensate when you level out, there might be a problem. Also try looking up your model number, which should be located somewhere on your scooter, and checking it out online to see if it has any defects or troubleshoots.
