Why will cedar point be closed to the public on Sept. 5th and 6th 2008?

I noticed this on their site and was just curious what group was special enough to close the place down to the public for two days...or what the reason is...??

A company might have rented the place out. I remember one time I went to redeem my season pass a day when the park was closed and a basket company had rented the entire park out for its employees.

Pretty sweet trip for the employees.

my guess is that they are totally filled already that day. the know that the special offer for that day is going to sell out and the people will show with their pre siold tickets. it is 4 and 5 days after labor day so that is not it.

There's a private event. Sometimes companies rent the place out for banquets and stuff. :)
