  1. it's over priced

    its junk no one wants

its listed under the wrong category

  2. Could be many reasons. A few possibilities:

    1. Prices to high - people are looking for bargains.*

    2. Shipping costs too high (especially if it's an item they can buy in a store, thus eliminating shipping charges).

    3. Not enough payment options (I'll only pay by Pay Pal - a lot of people don't want to send their credit card # or a check).

    4. Maybe you just don't have anything that people want.

    5. Item description ? (I also won't buy anything that doesn't include a picture of the item).

    6. Bad feedback - nobody wants to buy from a seller that has a bad track record.

*In it's early days, ebay was a great place to find bargains - an online yard sale more or less. Lately though, more and more sellers are just trying to make big profits. A perfect example is hard to find video game systems. A seller will buy a system at retail price, then try to unload it for an outrageous profit - e-scalping ? If I stood outside a Best Buy with a brand new Wii and tried to sell it for $1000, I'd probably get arrested.

  3. depends on what it is . If your selling a used pair of socks then no one is going to want it. EBay has more choices when posting your products to sell. Try using more bigger pictures or bold fonts or highlights to catch peoples eye. Try different things and see what works.

  4. Maybe you are a new seller with not a lot of stars, or they don't want/need what you are trying to sell.

Maybe you will sell it faster  if you have a Buy It Now or Best Offer?

  5. all the above and any bad comments put people off aswell

good luck with ur selling !!!

    oh i have an idea...

or it might be that u havent got enough good comments (that u are new)

so to get people goin get a m8 who is on ebay to bid for it, that will encourage other buyers to bid, then if ur m8 wins, u can keep the item, they can keep their money but he can put a comment on saying fnx fast delevery etc. (to big u up) and pretend the transaction went through !

  6. - not priced competetively

    - no pictures included

    - no return policy

    - or the stuff is just old and no one wants it
