Why woman wants to be mother and grandmother?

Question

I am 25 year old currently studying and trying to establish a career.

My mom expects that i am settle fast in a career/job and then marry and then make my mom a grandmother.

Life is so tough and stressful..i dont want to make any woman pregnant and bring another new life.

Why my mom is so desperate to become grandmother?

Life & Time.   Your mother is getting old,  She wants to participate in your wedding day, She wants to see you working and being the man of the house, Being a grand mother is a way of experience her son in your son, Also these days health is wealth, She want to see who will be your wife as her daughter-in-law.  I hope you understand the deeper meaning towards the above mention statements that I spoken.  Everybody are getting married when there are old that is not a right choice.  I do understand that Career is also impt so force first on it then when you are satisfied go ahead and marry as arranged by your mother and see how life becomes blossom.  They are also tuff times but keep your mind open, calm, understand the situations, sacrifies, don't let the echo come in your way and communication.  Life is set.

A lot of women are this way, but your young and have plenty of time. I am sure she can understand that you would like to get your career in order first, then fall in love and then start a family, I mean it is the only thing that makes sense.

I didn't become a mother till I was 28, and a lot of people wait and do it in there 30's.

I am not sure why woman are so fast to want this, but I can guess that it is because they are woman, and are the carriers of babies.

When people grow older they lose interest in grown people.As grown ones behave on their own way.Their own children never listens or do what they say, even if they show love towards them,they cannot understand.So they want someone whom they can show their love without any oppose or unconditional,that will be only their  grandchildren.

It's a good question.... and a sensitive one.... It also shows that you are thinking clearly and responsibly....Well, you see, it's this simple. It's kind of like a combination  of expectation and tradition and culture.... They think that you should do as they do, that's all they know. Most mothers are desperate to be grandmothers... But this is just not something that you can order from someone.... it's another life we're talking about here....

Parents (especially in India) should understand that they cannot live their own lives through their children. They cannot be dependent when their kids are trying in these hard changing times in India to be independent, something they probably never were.... It's tough, but my advice is be one of the new generation PLEASE, who stand up for their beliefs no matter what anyone else say. be your own person, giving consideration to others but pleasing yourself first. This is very hard for the Indian as he thinks his own happiness is a bonus after he taken care of making everyone else happy. The only way people are going to gain independence in India is if they stand up together and go forward in the way of new thinking. Only then, will things really start to change. Good luck....

She is just being a mother, My mom wants me to do the same. Every mother wants their son/daughter to be a parent and bring new life into this world and use the same parenting techniques as they did when you were a child.
