Why women get all the negative views in the end?

Question

Smoking women = ****, evil, cheap.

Smoking men = hmm... it’s normal.

(eg. I had a female friend who said that smoking men are at least ok, compared to smoking women who are purely evil)

Women don’t do houseworks= useless

Men don’t do houseworks = houseworks are meant for women its ok

Ok fine but when…

Women don’t go out work = she’s a loser type.

Men don’t go out work = it’s just them, what to do. (?)

When a woman let the man pays for the bill = she’s a loser for depending on the man.

When a man let the woman pays for the bill = such a smart guy who knows how to use a woman well.

In certain society that emphasize on virginity, when it comes to losing virginity outside of marriage,

Unvirgin women = a **** who don’t have value anymore.

Unvirgin men = they’re men so it’s normal.

While in the similar kind of society, when it comes to an ex-husband or ex-wife,

Divorced woman/ Widow = not fresh anymore.

Divorced man/ Widower = more experience (?)

A woman who pregnant her boyfriend’s baby = evil, w***e, irresponsible, careless

A man who impregnates her girlfriend = ………

Playgirl = cheap w***e

Playboy = boys…

Cheating wife = seriously she’s some kind of a b

Cheating husband = he’s a man doesn’t he?

In terms of looks, women must always look neat and pretty, compared to men. It’s ok no matter how ugly / messy the guy is, but “you…as a woman, must always be presentable”.

The thing is, most of them who have been coming out with these stereotyping are…women, including women in my family who are those with careers (I don’t). I mean like, where the **** is the equality that you’ve been fighting for?

I don't share these societal views.

First of all I'm the bread winner of the home... my wife is a stay at home mom. I don't look down upon her for not working... in fact I prefer her to stay home and take care of the home, our kids and me. Having a tranquil, harmonious home life is by far more important any monetary gain we could have by having a two income home. I want my kids to grow up having a traditional mother at home. Before I married my wife I had an established career able to support a family. I think way too many couples rush into making babies too early... hence begin families at such a young age that 2 parents have to work just to get by.

Maybe our young people should think about what they want in life so they can control their own future and not their future controlling them.

at last someone who talks sense....I could list a whole load more like

woman who works and has kids=selfish bit*ch for having a career and lleaving her kids instead of staying at home

woman who has no kids=a weirdo and possibly g*y

woman who works but has no kids= a threat to her company as she could get preg at any time (this last bit is especially true in the uk, its becoming a more acceptible view and more widely held all the time)

I can see that these are not your views but those u have come across in the media and in others. I wish others were more perceptive, as these strands do run through western culture.

men just dont seem to suffer from this relentless categorizing that women do, whereever we go, people stereotype us as this or that. why cant they just see as individuals?

I don't think that's a necessarily valid premise.  Men get plenty of silly stereotypes too (dumb, uncaring, "testosterone-driven," etc.).  Generalisations are driven by perceptions, so if one chooses to "accept" these perceptions and then generalise them across the board, it's presumptuous and silly.

I may resemble a beagle and make typographic errors, but that doesn't necessarily mean that I am a beagle or that I'm uneducated, unless of course, that's how one wishes to perceive me.

I believe is the other way around,men who pay for dinne are called a pig because "all he wants is s*x"a woman who pays is called freedom,a man who cheat is called a B*stard,a woman who cheats is called comfort,a man who looks bad is called a loser,a woman who dresses the same is called s**y,a man who smoke is called old a woman who smokes is called mature.
