Well biologically we do think differently so its natural to feel that you can't understand women BUT I do agree that people tend to ignore the obvious and that there aren't too many "mysterious" people (male or female) although a lot of phonies of both genders lol.

You may be abstracting women too much in your mind.  Some people can create elaborate constructions in their imaginations about a concept, such a "woman".  Meticulously, the construction is memorized and studied from many perspectives within our minds.  We analyze it, form hybrid constructions / associations / concepts within the abstraction itself.  It makes sense to us and it becomes truth.  That is "dogma".  Then, when we encounter the reality, a woman, who is not inferior unnatural human-conceptualization / dogma but organic and naturally in flux, there is cognitive dissonance between the dogmatic elaborate construction of abstractions, perfectly woven and balanced by our own mind's hand, and the organic reality.
