Why won't Asus send me the I/O Shield that was missing from the motherboard package?

I wrote to ask them to send me the missing part but instead they told me they refuse to do that and I'd have to purchase that part from them. Who should take responsibility, the manufacturer, or the reseller, or me? I bought it from TigerDirect.com.

Try contacting Tiger Direct by phone and tell them what happened. They may send you one for free.
