MANY PEOPLE DO NOT GIVE THEIR CHILDREN GIFTS FOR CHRISTMAS... THIS IS THEIR BELIEFS.  NORTH AMERICA IS A GREEDY CONTINENT AND WE CAN AFFORD TO DO WITH LESS AND GIVE TO OTHERS LESS FORTUNATE ALL THROUGH THE YEAR.  I NEVER RECEIVED GIFTS FOR EITHER BIRTHDAY OR CHRISTMAS.  MOM COULDN'T AFFORD IT IF SHE DID BELIEVE IN CHRISTMAS.  CHRISTIANITY DIDN'T COME TO OUR VILLAGE UNTIL WE WERE BIGGER.  WHAT THE OBAMA  FAMILY DO OR DON'T DO IS NONE OF OUR BUSINESS BUT IT'S INTERESTING.  THAT'S LIFE.  ENJOY YOUR LIFE.

The Obamas may spend “hundreds” on slumber parties – but they don’t give their daughters Christmas or birthday presents, in order to "teach some limits."

What's wrong with that?  If more parents set limits for buying "stuff" for their kids, we would have better kids who are not selfish, greedy little creeps.
