Why won't Spy Sweeper find any traces of spyware anymore. It used to find stuff everyday. ?

Ok, this is strange. I've ran spy sweeper with added anti virus about every other day for the passed couple months, and every time I scan it finds a handful of stuff.... sometimes just traces in the cookies and sometimes a trojan or 2, but either way it would have a small list of at least 10 things. Now for about the last 3 weeks every time I scan it find absolutely nothing, and I haven't changed my internet browsing habits. It's starting to make me think somethings wrong with Spy Sweeper. ANY HELP APPRECIATED.

simple update you anti virus  because spy ware and viruses develop and in someway get around these gaurds so update and if it does not find anything it just means your pc is virus free

Did you upgrade to the latest version three weeks ago.

It would be disturbing if they were letting a trojan or two

enter your computer....but you accepted that......so my

guess is your settings on Spysweeper have changed

somewhat......new version default settings or you may

have changed yourself.....as it appears they are now

stopping "a trojan or 2" and tracking cookies from

entering in the first place......so its doing the job that a

REALTIME scanner should do......and i really think you

have nothing to worry about.

You should have been asking Q's when they were

lettings things through.

I have 13 shields on ....how about you?

Also on the home page......look for how many

items have been blocked...keep an eye on it.

Mine very rarely finds anything on scan but of

course there are plenty of things blocked.

it may just be you got lucky or somhow you anti virus isnt working try this and see if it detects it http://www.eicar.org/anti_virus_test_fil...
