  1. try to buy Big Brown

  2. the best type to buy for your first horse would be  a mature mare or gelding  with a quiet temprement. If  you live close to city make sure the horse is used to city noise and traffic conditions, also have to horse  checked  to see if it is  sound. A mare would be my choice in  your situation for you can breed from her  at a later date

  3. If you don't have much experience, a rescue horse might not be the best idea, especially if it's an ex-racehorse.  Most are just "track broke", and aren't too good for pleasure riding.  I know someone who had one, and the horse was too much for her, and she was an experienced rider.

  4. Not sure what you are asking.you should refrase what you are asking. Then maybe you will get some answers.

  5. If you are looking for a good uncomplicated horse, don't get a rescue. Most of them aren't even rescued, just labled that to get an emotional response and undeserved funds from soft hearted naive people. Look for a horse who has already had success and happy life. Horses who have had misery with humans NEVER forget, and will always have issues--some dangerous to you. But a horse who has been outgrown, and is already trained will be much more pleasant, and inexpensive to maintain than one needing extensive veterinary or training services in attempt to restore--Get a curly horse, perfect, simple easy keepers,  for an upcoming young rider!
