The Brownlow Medal night is a biggie on the AFL calender but it hasn't been telecast up here for.... I can't remember if it has. Useless other programs are usually put on. We want the Brownlow night on telly up here. & Fox aren't allowed to telecast it either. Where is the sense in that.

  1. ch 7 have the rights and that means foxtel cant show it either, but its ironic how bad ch 7s coverage is here in Sydney ch 7 are showing it at 1130pm and fox who don't have the rights are showing at at 1030

    can 7 get any worse

  2. What is it with Australian TV and footy?  I could maybe see blacking out a game in a city if it wasn't a sell out, but no one in the country could watch Geelong v. Collingwood live?  This is a game to decide who gets to play in the most important game of the year!  Brownload Medal night?  Why not show it in Queensland live?  It's being shown live in the US!  First time, I think.  Footy coverage has had its ups and downs but we're getting two live games a week and also the Brownlow. And Sheedy's coming to the US Footy Nationals...of course, he's got time on his hands now.

  3. Sorry to hear that...

Foxtel will televise games that have been broadcast on Channel 7 or 10, so hopefully they will show the Brownlows - though you would have to wait until the next day...
