Why won't iTunes store work?!

Question

When I click on the Itunes Store button it says "We could not complete your request,make sure the connection is active and try again." I can get on the internet,but just not the iTunes store,anyone know the problem?

Not exactly, but if that happened to me, I'd quit all programs, restart the computer, and try again. Make sure you're connected BEFORE you open iTunes. Good luck.
