Why won't it display my Yahoo! 360 picture?

Question

I'm having a problem with getting my 360 pic on here to use for my answers picture. On my 360 page, the picture is just fine, it is displayed with no problem. Yet, when I go to edit my info and put my 360 pic to use, it wont' work and it will just display no picture.

I've tried deleting then re-uploading the pic twice and nothing is working. What is going on?

Ohhhhhhhhhhh...............I came around to see what was wrong after your answer and thought oh boy !!! he is gone again !

I do not know what to say but have had this problem too recently. A pic - for a laugh- only showed up 3 days later and it took me ages on another account to download a pic also. Yahoo kept telling me to download 360 and it was there all the time. I got it eventually but not after much effort. One box on my 360 does not work at all either : can't download anything.

There are an awful lot of glitches at the moment you know.

BTW...sorry have been messing up with my mailbox too so forgot who asked me this and that so will just answer LOL...

EDIT: SG, you mean that Ryan got to see your green eyes and I don't? That's just not fare! I call it favoritism, I mean you always give such great answers and it would be cool to see you..... hehe

My picture doesn't show up anymore either, sometimes I just want to look at my fabulous self while answering people's questions..... lol :D

When your picture is too big ( in MB )......yahoo cant not use it on YA...i think...

go to edit your profile, click in the middle choice " display my 360 picture "

Try downsizing your pic... It has to be under 1 meg . i had the same problem and never got it working <sigh>

Maybe my pic was too devilish. i was naked onit. Do you think that could account for it :-) ???

i know last week after some of the problems pictures were taking up to 24hrs to show in 360,my answers avatar has totally gone missing from my pictures in 360,so who knows whats going on.i know when i was setting my picture the other week i was faced with a similar problem when i was setting as primary,it wasn't saving,i had to go back edit info,and save as.i hope you sort it,peAce.

I'm having the same problem as well, and have had before. Yahoo must be doing some work on one of the sites, either here or 360....or at least that's what it was last time. The change of pic will work, it'll just take a while.

EDIT: Yeah, but it should be a different pic, because I changed it a couple of days ago....will wait I guess.

What else can I do, really?

I have the same problem, as you can see I have no avatar. It's been going on for three days, there seems to be a glitch and Yahoo is working on it, I hope they fix it soon :]

There's currently a glitch with Yahoo where you load 360 photos and they don't show up as your Yahoo Answers avatar. No doubt they're working on it so all we can do is be patient and hope they fix the glitch soon!

It's times like this that I remember my Dad used to say "You get what you pay for" so, considering that I don't pay anything to use this site, I refuse to let it get to me that they have glitches all the time. Yahoo is famous for it's glitches. Welcome to YaHELL.

The same problem is happening to me aswell. Right now, after I finish posting this answer, it will have text saying "The Nerd" in an ugly box (as my avatar), then more text under that saying "The Nerd" (as this is my username) and then my Top Contributor badge.

During this time that Yahoo! 360 or Yahoo! Answers (whichever site is having problems) has been "down" I have been swiching avatars trying to see if it will work. I had tried about 27 different pictures and all of them failed.

I believe it is a down in the system and our pictures should be up in a maximum of 3 days. If not, you should contact Yahoo! and see what is going on and see how long it will take to fix this problem - because I would really like my avatar back.

I'm guessing, one of the reasons that mine isn't showing is because I change it far too frequently. But I can't help it if I like to show off my picture gallery.

same problem here, too! I tried usuing smaller pics--but you would just see the red X instead of a pic.

The only thing that ill show up  now is my avatar.
