I recently moved and switched TV's. I used to use a Samsung 56inch,1080p,HDTV. Now I tried to plug my 360 into a Samsung 54inch,HDTV. The TV's are just about the same. I tried to plug it in to AV1,AV2, and Component 1. After plugging it in to AV1and AV2 , I got a message saying no signal. And when I plugged it in to Component 1 it said on the screen, Does not support mode. I did not want to plug it in to Component 2 because that is where the comcast box is. By the way, Component 1 and 2 have the exact same amount of ports. Can someone please help?

  1. Well since you got HD, use HD but you have to switch the button from Normal- HD

    I am not sure sorry,

    Try asking Microsoft

  2. ah got your solution mate. plug your xbox 360 back into the 56inch 1080p television and you will notice that the setting will still be on 1080p change this setting to 720p and try it back on your other television and it should work. the problem would have been the hd setting would have been on 1080p and when you plugged it in to your other tv which supports 720p it wouldn't of showed because of the differ display setting. to change your display setting on the xbox go to the system blade and go on display settings and change the hd setting to 720p and it should workd.

  3. cause its a unreliable system get a ps3
