Why won't my Blackberry Curve 8320 work?

I haven't dropped my phone in water, I haven't dropped it at all.

But my battery has little red Xs on the side and I don't know what that means.

When the phone turns on all there is, is a red dot on the light on the top of the phone, nothing on the screen.

What's wrong?

First, take out the battery for a few minutes and then put it back in. See if that restores it.

If not, you will need to connect it to the PC and re-load the operating system onto the phone. I am guessing your 8320 is from TMobile?

If so, you can go to http://www.t-mobile.com/bbupgrade/ and download the phone OS 4.2 and the desktop manager 4.3 without media.
