Why won't my DVD/RW burn off any more? Please help.?

It used to work fine, suddenly won't play. I've downloaded two free burning software jobbies, and it still plays fine, but won't burn. Here is some of the Nero error report. I think these are the errors, but I don't understand what they mean, or how to rectify them. Please help!

  1. What I would do would be to remove all of the different burning software on your machine (in case something has been installed that is causing issues), restart and then install ImgBurn ( http://www.filehippo.com/download_imgbur... ).

If you still have the same issue that nothing will burn, I'm a bit stuck for answers.

  2. It "burned out"...lol

  3. what files are you trying to burn, are you using a clean dvd

  4. I need an update is this a Sony or Panisonic DVD Burner.. Your error is

    NeroError(-1135)

The drive reports happy (hardware), and windows reports happy(device driver layer). It may be the media type (manufacturer) please include that with your update. Try to get a firmware update for the DVD Burner. It is having issues with your media type, and or you need to update Nero to 7.1.2 or later. I can include update paths when you tell us your version of Nero.

    Nero conquers all!! Burning Rome.

    EDIT:

I can guarantee nothing is wrong with your burner these people don't know how to read your log.

  5. Time for a new one

    .

  6. i had the exact same problem. it could be your lazer is goosed. i was playing and burning for long enough. then all of a sudden couldn't.I'm afraid the only answer i can give you. is buy an external usb dvd/rw.that's what i had to do.

  7. you don't say what you were burning.

here's what i would try~start with downloading "free easy burner"(it's free)

put a cd/dvd into drive ,then with a file on your pc preferably not the one you have had trouble with.

on easy burner click on data ,drag and drop file on to menu .click on burn.then click on burn now.

if it makes the data disc ~you will know that your burning program nero is at fault and your cd/dvd burner is ok.

if it doe's not then it is a burner problem.

    good luck hope this helps.

  8. Err it's probably wore out
