I have a SanDisk 1GB MicroSD Card and a VK 4000 Virgin Mobile phone, I have been told that this card is compatible with my phone, but this is clearly not the case as I can't find the card on my phone and it fails to notice it's existence. The card doesn't show up when i try to move files onto it either. Help! This sucks!

  1. the card might need to be formatted for your phone and/or the chips connection is bad. Try taking can air or blow on the phone sd opening and take an eraser to the metal part of the sd chip (not to hard) and blow away the used eraser. then input it in. the phone can handle a 2 gig micro sd card.

  2. FORMAT IT OK

  3. Format the card in a PC first. Use FAT format rather than FAT32, and do a full format, not quick format.

The card should have come with an adapter allowing it to be used in a standard SD card reader. (You can buy USB SD card readers for literally pennies if your PC doesn't already have one built in.)

  4. The same thing kinda happened to my minisd it wouldnt work but then we figured out it was probably 2 big for the phone.

  5. format it first.

  6. Hey Format it

Because Unless you format it may not work.....

And if your mobile catalog says MicroSD Supported it would be compactable

    SO FORMAT IT
