A few months ago around the time I downloaded the new release of firefox, almost immediately afterward it stopped displaying images from the web. I always get the same error message, "The image (website I tried to view) cannot be displayed because it contains errors." and it's always regular sites that I always used to go to IE: Photobucket, google images, yahoo images etc. I don't want to uninstall mozilla and reinstall cause I have a lot of bookmarks that I do not want to lose. Can anyone help? Thanks.

  1. Maybe your set the browser to block images? Check your options

  2. Check Tools>Options>Content tab that 'Load all images immediately' is checked.  You also can click the 'Exceptions' button and allow any site by adding the URL.

BTW, you never lose your Bookmarks unless you delete the entire Mozilla folder(s).  Always backup your bookmarks by clicking 'Bookmarks' and selecting 'Organize  Bookmarks'. Then when window opens, select 'File' and then 'Export'. Browse to where you want to store your bookmarks.  I would suggest an USB Flash drive.
