Why won't my Sony LCD TV turn on?

For the last 6 months or so, our Sony LCD KLV40U100M would spontaneously turn off while watching a program. Last week while watching a movie, it turned off 4 or 5 times. Now it won't turn on at all. It's not the remote, the power cord, the outlet, or the fuse box. It appears something is wrong with the TV. Anyone else have this issue and know of a solution? Thanks!
