Why won't my Wii play my gamecube games?

I have some gamecube games but my Wii won't play them for some reason

Make sure you're inserting them correctly. You also need gcube controllers if you're gonna play gcube games.

You have to put them in with the labeled face facing away from the SD Card Cover, if you're doing that, then try aligning the hole in the disc with the little indent in the middle of the SD Card cover. If neither worked, then check the disc for scratches

The gamecube engine on your wii is basically a separate machine.  Yes, I know, all in that tiny white box!

If you're inserting the disks correctly, none of them play, they aren't scratched, and your wii games are playing fine, I suspect the gamecube portion of your wii is busted.  Time to call nintendo!  Here's hoping you're still under warranty.
